Anna (Annie) Erickson Robinson, 85, passed away April 1, 2018 at Ashley Manor in Pocatello, Idaho.
Annie was born in Ogden, Utah on March 29, 1933 to Halvor and Dorothy Erickson.
They moved to Pocatello, Idaho and she was joined by two sisters, Jolie M. and Dottie. She also had two half brothers and one half sister. (Deceased)
Annie married Keith Robinson and tho she bore no children of her own, she took over the role of mom to Keith’s two children, Gary and Sheila Robinson and helped to raise them also.
Annie graduated from Pocatello High School and being very savy, took over management of Royal Optical for thirty years.
She was an avid animal lover, always having puppies or kittys and fed any stray that happened to approach her home. Annie and her sisters had a live radio show called “The Country Girls” They made a record and sang with numerous country stars. Annie was always spunky, doing only what she wanted to, meaning everything she said and doing it her way. But with a heart of gold and generous to a fault. She was a great pool player. She rode a big “Harley” and drove around the country looking for anywhere she could sing her song. A country song lover and singer at heart.
Annie is survived by her two sisters, Jolie M. Williams, Pocatello; Dottie (Sherm) Sherman, California; and all their children being her many nieces and nephews. Also by Gary (Kathy) Robinson and Sheila (Doyle) Brooks by which Annie has 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends, but will be met by many others welcoming her home. No more pain, only love, peace, and joy.
