Pocatello - Betty Louise Gentry passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center on November 14, 2012, with family by her side.

Betty was born June 17, 1930 in Afton, Wyoming to Grace and Phares Walker. She married Rozell C. Gentry of Collins, Mississippi on July 21, 1950 in Collins.

She was a graduate of Star Valley High School and completed Secretarial training at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she participated in many years of service.

Betty loved gardening, painting, quilting and crafts. She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid lover of animals. She was a wonderful baker. She was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rozell Gentry and many loving relatives. She is survived by a sister, Sharon Walker, St. George, Utah. Sons, Steven Gentry, Billings, Montana, Ronald Gentry and Jimmie Gentry, Pocatello, Idaho. Daughters, Kari Christensen, Ammon, Idaho, Shirley Armstrong, Salt lake City, Utah, Rhoda levy, Denver, Colorado, along with 24 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday November 17, 2012 at the LDS Church on Hawthorne and Quinn Road. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to services.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello. Arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
