Brenna Merin Call Spitzmiller, 49, died of natural causes, June 12, 2020.
Born in Boise, Idaho, April 21, 1971, Brenna was raised in American Fork and Liberty, Utah by loving mom and stepdad, Bette and Jim Deveraux. She graduated from Weber High in 1989.
Brenna raised her family in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Her daughters, Crystal and Megan, were the light of her life, as well as beloved stepdaughter Stephanie. Being a mom was her greatest joy and her girls were the center of her world.
She is remembered most for being an amazing mother and aunt, for her quick wit, infectious smile and ready laugh, her appreciation of simple delights, ability to forgive, and her desire to connect with others. Among her favorite jobs was her work in public schools. She was particularly good with the elderly, children and those with special needs. Brenna was an amazing person of faith, who never stopped caring. She was smart, talented, a kind soul, fiercely loyal and loving; once you were in her heart you had a permanent place.
She is loved and missed by daughters, Crystal Spitzmiller, Megan Spitzmiller, stepdaughter, Stephanie Spitzmiller; parents, Bette and Jim Deveraux, William and Ellen Call; siblings Kirsten (James) Outzen, Jill (Alan) Roberts, Ryan (Emilie) Deveraux, Shaun (Bethany) Deveraux, Laura (Michael) Gemmell, Mary (Zane) Williams, Britt (Mark) Howe, Drew (Brandy) Johnson, Kyle (Janelle) Call; their spouses and families. Grandparents, Albert and Lois Klein, Chester and Florence Call; and brother Aaron Deveraux preceded Brenna in death.
