Brett Warner Butler

Brett Warner Butler, 76, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2016 in Pocatello surrounded by family.
He was born the son of Morgan and Dorothy Butler on November 17, 1939, a birthday he shared with his 1 year old great grandson. He enjoyed sharing jokes with family and friends, spending time with his family especially all of his grandchildren, and working out in his garden. The family took many camping trips up to Antelope Creek, car rides up to the mountains, and he very much enjoyed watching and playing baseball all his life. Brett was a born again Christian and loved to share the word of the Lord with all he loved.
Brett is a veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the 1st Calvary Division in South Korea, where he earned a medal for good conduct.
Brett is preceded in death by his parents Morgan Dale and Dorothy Butler, grandparents Dale and Blenda Butler, Calvin and Mary warner, and his beloved daughter Kristie Hansen. He is survived by his five children Daniel Lon Butler (Rexburg, ID), Debbie Lynn Otis, Brett Morgan Butler, Wendy Marie Butler, and Angie Butler all of Pocatello. He has 9 grandchildren Brooke, Haley, Mark, Andy, Lacey, Sadie, Ashley, Cheyenne, and Lucas, as well as 16 great grandchildren. His siblings Burke Butler (Laurie), Ralph John Butler (Elizabeth), Michael Butler, Peggy Transtrum (Lynn), and Cherie Christensen.
He will be deeply missed by all. Special thanks to all the people and family that helped take care of our father during his last days.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday February 3rd at Manning Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N 12th Ave. Interment will be in Mountainview Cemetery.
