Bryan James Buffaloe

Bryan Buffaloe was born on August 1, 1975 in Pocatello, Idaho to James A Buffaloe and Esther Buffaloe and left this world on August 26 , 2025. Bryan was quick witted and could brighten almost any situation with a few words that would lighten even the worst moments. Needless to say, his quick wit could get him in trouble as well.

As a child Bryan was up at the crack of dawn, ready to watch Saturday morning cartoons before heading outside. His love of the outdoors lasted his entire life. He loved camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and exploring the neighborhood or any camp site. One expedition found him sinking in a muddy river bed up to his waist before planks could be found to rescue him.

Bryan had a heart of gold and a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes that said he was up to something. He had a knack of being able to fix almost anything, including cars. He was a certified welder for several years but later found he preferred to work more closely with the public. He spent a summer moving irrigation pipes and had a variety of odd jobs.

He had several knick names he answered to, including Bird, Bryar, and Uncle Byner, given to him lovingly by his niece, Ashley. But his favorite was when he was called Dad.

Bryan married Sherry Thornock but they eventually divorced. They had three children, Eric and Whitney (Storey) of Pocatello, and Darren of Nampa. Bryan and Denise Jones share daughter Allaina Jones of Pocatello He is also survived by his two, grandchildren Terah and Silas Storey, his father Jim and step mother Ruth, his mother Esther Hill and step father Royce Hill of Pocatello, sister Kami (Magee) and Ryan of Amarillo, TX and step sister Charlene Byington (Mori) of Pocatello.

The family and close friends will reminiscence and celebrate Bryan at a later date. Please fill free to share your memories of Bryan.
