Cheryl Ann Harrison of Pocatello, Idaho passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at the age of 49. She had recently been diagnosed with a rare genetic neurological disorder and was being treated for meningitis at the University of Utah hospital at the time of her passing.

Cheryl was born September 30, 1972 in Boise, Idaho to Kenneth and MarJean Harrison, the fourth of five children. She grew up on Pocatello’s west bench and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1990. Most of her career was spent managing Orange Julius and Mario’s Pizza in the Pine Ridge Mall. She then took a position at Rails West Credit Union. She also sold Mary Kay for several years.

Cheryl was a happy, pleasant, and kind person. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews, and was a great babysitter. She liked playing board and card games and doing puzzles. Whether it was hide-and-seek or charades with her nieces and nephews or a game night with friends, she was ready to play. She also enjoyed doing crafts. She made beautiful birthday and wedding cakes, fun Halloween costumes, scrapbooks, various crafts as gifts for friends, and even sold wreaths she assembled. Cherylenjoyed traveling and made at least one trip each year with her sister, Melanie. Her goal was to visit all 50 states. She had only five to go. Cheryl was a voracious reader and also enjoyed watching movies.

Cheryl was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many years as a primary teacher but also served as visiting teacher and secretary in the Young Women’s program. Her favorite calling was in the Relief Society activities committee.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and MarJean Harrison. She is survived by her siblings Brett Harrison, Pamela Harrison, Melanie Harrison, and Dan (Twyla) Harrison, her nieces and nephews Matthew Harrison, Brittany (Zach) Overmyer, Vanessa Harrison, Michael Harrison, Jennifer (Matthew) Veach, Brenek Harrison, Kendan Harrison, Tarik Harrison, and Ellayna Harrison, and two great-nieces Lilia Overmyer and Ava Overmyer.

Cheryl will be buried in the Lava cemetery.
