Dawna Dial Robbins passed away peacefully with family on January 2nd, 2016. She was born August 18th, 1927 in Goshen, Idaho the daughter of Harry and Bessie Dial.

With her first husband, James Glen Bleak, she raised five children while living in Salt Lake, Pocatello, then back to Salt Lake. A few years after their divorce she married Lewis Leath Robbins on July 9th, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and moved to Pocatello, Idaho to help Leath raise his six children.

Preceded in death by her sister Echo Beth, husband Leath (Julia), daughter Marsha (Ray) Olson, son Steven (Kate) Bleak, and grandson Nolan Anderson. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Quigley of Salt Lake City and her children Jim (Anelle) Bleak, Margaret Bleak, Lisa (Rick) Jones and step children Kevin (Sandra) Robbins, Brett (Gail) Robbins, Jay (Pamela) Robbins, Bart (Susan) Robbins, Lorna Lee (Ryan) Anderson, and Jennie (Kirk) Mitton, 42 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Dawna graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City and attended Brigham Young University.She worked at a photography studio and used her artistic abilities to enhance photos. She also worked as a buyer for "Adrien n Emilie's", a clothing boutique in Salt Lake. In Pocatello, she worked as a travel agent with Sunrise Travel. This enabled Dawna and Leath to enjoy travel to many countries. Dawna had numerous other interests such as speaking French, oil painting, gardening, music, and reading. She was a member of Les Belles Lettres Literary Club for 30 years.

Dawna served in many ward and stake callings in the LDS church including Primary and Relief Society presidencies, gospel doctrine instructor, choir director and other ward callings. She and Leath served a full-time mission together in the Independence Visitors' Center.

Her life was characterized by her service for others - always visiting, encouraging and taking meals to those facing challenges in their lives. We will miss Dawna's great love, service and concern for all her family.

Funeral services in Salt Lake will be Friday, January 8th at 1:00 p.m. at the Millcreek 2nd Ward, 4220 S Jeannine Dr (420 E) with a viewing from 12:00 to 12:45 PM. Funeral services in Pocatello will be Saturday, January 9th at 12:00 PM at the Fremont Heights Ward, 1433 Gwen Dr. with a viewing from 11:00 to 11:45 AM. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello
