Blackfoot - Doris (Dori) E. Roeder, 76, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born January 13, 1937 in Gothenburg, Nebraska, a daughter of William Addison and Lucille Alice Everts Putnam.

She attended schools in the Snake River area, California and graduated from Turner High School in Turner, Oregon in 1955.

She married Don W. Henman on September 1, 1956 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union three children were born, Deborah, Dan and Dale. The were later divorced.

On November 5, 1983, she married James (Jim) Roeder in Elko, Nevada and they were happily married until her passing.

She enjoyed working with all kinds of people as shown by her job history as a dental assistant for many years, a baker, western clothes saleswoman, diet center owner and job referral manager. She loved camping, picnicking, boating, swimming and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Jim Roeder, Blackfoot, Idaho; children, Deborah (Larry) Russell, Basalt, Idaho; Dan (Natalie) Henman, Las Vegas, Nevada; Dale (Judy) Henman, Knoxville, Tennessee; brothers, Clay (Jean) Putnam, Caldwell, Idaho; Lloyd Putnam, Scotts Mills, Oregon; Clint (Irene) Putnam, Silverton,Oregon; Cliff (Deanna) Putnam, Salem, Oregon; sisters, Mildred Reeder, Blackfoot, Idaho; Lynn Moss, Springfield,Oregon; 4 grandchildren, Hope (Chad) Wheatley, Ron (Allegra) Russell, T.J. (Christina) Henman, Shayna Henman; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Milt; three sisters, Darlene, Bernice, Bonnie ; a grandson, Shawn Henman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with Pastor David Kite of the First Southern Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening July 8, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: James Roeder (106 N.E. Main Street, Apt. #308 Blackfoot, Idaho, 83221) for final expenses.
