Dorothy Ann Mae Ryder

Dorothy Ann Mae Beck was born November 7, 1937 to Dolly Mae Hopkins and Marvin D Beck in Spokane Washington. She passed March 25, 2026

She lived with her aunt after her parents passed away when she was young.

She graduated from Rathdrum High school in 1956. She married husband Kenneth. They had two beautiful boys, Michael Gene Ryder born June 8,1958 and Mark Alan Ryder born August 31, 1959. As if taking care of two baby boys wasn't enough, she also ran an adult foster care for 12 years, worked for Mary Kay for 7 years and she also worked at the senior citizens building in Pocatello for about 17 years.

Some of her passions other than selling makeup and skin care products to beautiful ladies and caring for others were working and being involved in the Grange in Oregon and in Pocatello she was labeled the worthy master of Portneuf Grange in Pocatello.

She was a very bright soul in this world she lived her life to the fullest. Her smile and her presence always lit up a room and moments with her were never the dullest. She was an incredible lady, a loving mother, a caring grandmother and an amazing great granny, she was always so thoughtful, sweet, funny, caring, kind, and just uncanny. For those who don't know what uncanny is it means being beyond what is normal or expected or in other words superhuman which is what she was to us. And for that we thank God for that gift from above. We are sad to see her leave, and we bid her loving Fair well, and hope she greets us when we all are able to hear our final bell. So, until we meet at the pearly gates just know we will always remember you as one of the greatest.

She is survived by nephew Robert Beck, niece Cindy McNamee, Daughter in law Melanie, granddaughters Shasta and Nickcole, grandsons Jared Steven Riley and great grandkids Aj Ayden Anthony Hadley Olivia Micah Jazper Zaniyah Ayanna Lenix Jesiray Paisley Taylen.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, father, and brother, her husband her two sons Mark and Mike and her great grandchildren Emily and Brandon.
