Earline Lish

Earline Lish, 85 of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 at a local care center.

She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on 4/30/1940, the eldest of 12 children to Earl Gardner and Josephine Jensen. She graduated from Marsh Valley High School on May 19,1958. After high school she worked as a telephone operator before moving to salt Lake City, Utah where she studied bookkeeping at Salt Lake Community College. Later, she worked as a bank teller at First Security Bank where she met Allen Kenneth Lish. They were married on November 16, 1962 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They married and divorced twice. The couple had five children.

She enjoyed Genealogy and crocheting. She was very close to her siblings whom she helped raise. She loved going to church, and going out to eat. She was a very conscientious person. Due to her Bi-Polar illness, she spent most of her life in Assisted Living Facilities. The last several years of her life, she battled Pneumonia and Diabetes.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her sister Carla Baird of Aberdeen, ID and Jeanette Andrews of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her siblings, Lucille Andresen, Julie Drollinger, Marilyn Jackman, Winona Catmull, Ida May Nielson, Micheal Gardner, Kristy Combs, Marshall Gardner, Lorin Gardner and their spouses, and her children Tracy(Pattye) Lish of El Reno Oklahoma, Lillis Lish of Pocatello Idaho, Allena(Tom) Armistead of Downey Idaho, Elizabeth Lish of Eugene Oregon and Joseph(Tracy) Drollinger of Bellevue, Nebraska. She has 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
