Erma L. Thornock

Erma Lorraine Thornock, age 87, passed away at Brookdale assisted Living on Sunday, March 25, 2018.
Erma was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming on September 29, 1930 to Spencer and Erma Hysell. She attended school in Kemmerer, graduating from Kemmerer High.
She married her high school sweetheart Bill Thornock on September 2, 1950. They lived in Frontier, Wyoming where she worked at the Frontier Supply Company in the office while Bill served in the Army. After his release, they moved to Pocatello.
Erma was a homemaker, raising their children and serving in many church callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her most memorable experiences were serving as Stake Relief Society President. Erma and Bill moved to Bountiful, Utah for 5 years until Bill retired in 1990, when they moved back to Pocatello.
Erma and Bill’s two children are Larry (Beth) in Hemet, CA and Cindy (Richard) Rhead of Boise ID.
Erma is survived by her children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Thornock.
Services will Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 11am at the LDS Chapel on Oakwood Drive. There will be a viewing on Monday evening April 2, 2018 form 6-8pm at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel and also 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
