It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of George Aggeler, known to many as "Marvelous George," who was born on April 5, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Margaret and Francis Kent. He passed away peacefully at his daughter's house on January 27, 2025.
George was a devoted brother, father and grandfather, great grandfather, leaving behind his wife Sandra Aggeler, two brothers, five children and seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (Harold Aggeler Sr.) and Frances, sisters Evelyn, Ann, and Marty his beloved daughter Angela Aggeler, and his grandson Dylin Stephens.
George was a man who was always willing to help from helping people getting their cars unstuck in the snow to holding the door for anyone. He always gives compliments to people and can always find good in people. George was always a hard worker who was in the navy and was a salesman.
A man of deep faith, George was an active member of his church, St. Joseph's, where he was known and loved by many. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
George's legacy of love and devotion to his family and community will be remembered and celebrated by all. May he rest in peace.
Funeral will be in Pocatello at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on 2/7/2025 at 11am. The burial will be in the Shoshone, Idaho Cemetery on 2/8/2025 at 2pm
