George "Bud" Elmer Nelson

George Elmer (Bud) Nelson, 82, passed away on Saturday the morning of November 18, 2017 at a local care facility.
Bud was born July 28, 1935, in Newport Oregon, the son of Clarence L. Nelson Sr. and Viola Smith Nelson. He was the oldest of six children. He married Sharon Pearl Hacking in 1963. Their marriage welcomed five children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, his sons, Les (Lannis), John (Michelle). Josh (Amy), and his daughters, Georgia Seganakis and Pam (Alan) Hill and 17 grandchildren and one great grand daughter. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Mountain View Cemetery section 49 West.
The family will meet with friends prior to graveside services on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
