Ina Gilbert Avery Liljenquist

Ina Gilbert Avery Liljenquist was born October 9, 1923 in Bancroft, Idaho. She passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018 in Meridian, Idaho.

She was the daughter of James and Jennie Gilbert. She married Ray L. Avery in 1943 and were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.  He passed in 1984. She married Harold Liljenquist in 1985. He passed in 2011.

Mom enjoyed fishing, square dancing, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She made slippers by the thousands and made sure everyone’s feet were covered. She loved to garden and can her goods. Harold and Mom fished until their hearts were content.

Mom had 9 brothers and sisters and could sit and tell stories all day long.

She is survived by her sons Ray Avery, Lonnie (Lynn Marie) Avery, Craig (Janet) Avery, Brent (Crystal) Avery. By her daughters Diana Johnson, Kara (Ben) Roper. 17 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Ray L Avery and Harold Liljenquist. Her sisters Leah, Lois, Rosa, Emma and Ann. Her brothers Harris, Heber and Sydney. Daughter in Law Jenny Avery and 1 grandson, Randall Avery.

Mom will be missed beyond words. Heaven has definitely gained another angel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Saturday on March 31, 2018 at the LDS church located at 1700 W Kinghorn in Pocatello. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday March 30 at the Manning Wheatley Funeral Home and again at the church from 9-9:45 prior to the services
