Janice Gail Simpkins

Janice Gail Simpkins went to look after her two daughters on Sunday April 18, 2021 surround by family. Janice was born on June 25, 1942 to Anetta Welcher and John Welcher in Jones, Oklahoma. She was the baby out of 11 brothers and sisters.

Janice was not only a family woman but was the heart of the family, always there for anyone with love and kindness, understanding and support.  Janice’s love and happiness was radiant, her laugh and smile put everything into prospective.

Jancie was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Janice loved reading, collecting masks and Elvis items but most of all talking to and playing with her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her daughters; Carol Batterton of American Falls, ID, Charolette Pease of Shelley, ID, Hailey Batterton.  Sons; Joseph Simpkins of American Falls, ID, Randy Simpkins of Spokane, WA, Willis Simpkins of Pocatello, ID, David Simpkins of Guam, Will Batterton, and Jerry Batterton.  Her 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.  Janice was preceded in death by her husband Walter Simpkins, daughters Anita Banta and Debbie Simpkins, great great grandchild Athena Wyke.

Per her request there will be no services or memorial.  Just remember her in your heart.
