Judy Helen Leigh

Judy Helen Leigh-Honas, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2025. Judy was born October 12, 1949 in Pocatello, ID to Harry & Helen Stedtfeld.

Judy had two sons, who were her world Jesse & Michael Leigh. She was a single mom who took her boys all across the country traveling and to new adventures. She lived in Washington and owned an RV park. She decided to sell the RV park and moved back to her hometown, Pocatello. In Pocatello, she built her dream home and bought properties around town. Judy managed her properties and worked various jobs throughout her life before retirement.

Judy married the love of her life in June 1998, Steve. When she married Steve she also gained three more children, Joshua Honas, Christa Lake (Honas) and Bobby McCreery. Together, Steve and Judy, built an amazing life filled with hard work, love and adventure. They travelled all over the country together. Their love was deep and it showed everyday you saw them together. They travelled to Vegas, Hawaii, Sturgis, Mexico , the east coast and attended every concert they could. Steve stood by her side until the very end.

Judy lived a life full of adventure. She loved to travel and attend concerts. She loved any concert, but had a real love for Rock N’ Roll. She took all the kids to concerts and all of their friends every year. She went to every length to make sure that her kids knew real music. Judy loved everyone. She was known as a mom to everyone.

If you knew her you knew that at 4:00 it was her time to jam some classic Rock N’Roll and dance around the house with a Natural Light and clamato in hand. She will be known to everyone as the fun mom, the mom who was always ready to hang out with the kids or take them on their next adventure. We will miss her wittiness, her love for adventure, her will to do whatever it takes and the love she gave to everyone.

Judy is survived by her husband, Steve Honas. Her children, Jesse Leigh, Christa Lake (Colter), Josh Honas and Bobby McCreery. Her grandchildren, Camren, Blake, Cactus and Lilly. Nephews, Matt Honas (Nikki) and Jordan Honas (Chelsea). Plus all of the kids who knew her as mama Judy.

Judy is proceeded in death by her son, Michael Leigh. Her brother, Dick Stedtfelt. Her parents, Harry and Helen Stedtfelt. Her mother, father and brother in laws, Donald Honas, Vicki Honas, Keith Honas and Craig Honas.

The family would like to thank Heritage Hospice for taking such great care of Judy in the last months of her life.

At this time there will be no services as her per her wishes. In the spring the family will hold a burial to have her ashes buried with Michaels. In the mean time listen to some rock n’roll, remember the good times with her and drink a Natural Light in her memory.
