Kelsey Jane Call, 39, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2026. Though her departure was sudden, she was surrounded by her loving family and church community. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of selfless service, deep faith, and boundless kindness.
Born on May 18, 1987, Kelsey was raised in Pocatello by her loving parents, Rick and Kari Call. After graduating from Highland High School, she quickly began leaving her mark on the community she cherished. Kelsey spent 15 years with the Pocatello Children’s Clinic, building deep, enduring friendships with her colleagues and physicians. Even after transitioning to a new chapter, she frequently dropped in to check on her team and offer a helping hand to the doctors when she could.
Following her time at the clinic, Kelsey embraced a fulfilling new calling: working full-time for the Harvest Church. She found immense joy and purpose in her devotion to the church community, where she dedicated countless hours, energy, and heart to serving others. Whether preparing the coffee bar, coordinating Vacation Bible School, ensuring production details were seamless, or managing one of the church's many events, Kelsey’s warmth and meticulous eye for detail were always present.
Kelsey lived a life centered on others. Whether lending a helping hand to a neighbor, organizing church projects, or offering a compassionate ear, her generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Kelsey is survived by her father, Rick Call (Natalie); her devoted brothers, Kasey Call (Sarah) and Jake Call; her cherished nephews, Talmage, McKay, Benson, and Luca; her best friend, Bobbie Jo Martin and her children Rhylee, Hallee, Brock, as well as her step-brothers Gunnar Barfuss (Juliet) and Chase Barfuss. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kari Call, with whom she is now reunited in peace.
Kelsey will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, unshakeable faith, and the light she brought into the lives of so many. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Public Viewing is scheduled for Friday August 14, 2026 from 6-8pm at Manning Wheatly Funeral Home. Family Graveside services will be held at Mountainview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers follow Kelsey’s example by serving and loving someone today.
