Kenneth William Johnson

Kenneth William Johnson, 62, of Inkom, Idaho passed away peacefully at his home on April 16, 2025.

Ken was born on July 6, 1962, in Brigham City. He was born the oldest of 4 children to his beloved parents, William Kenneth Johnson and Carolyn Humphreys Johnson. They later moved to Logan where he was raised and attended school.

He worked at Thiokol for a number of years before he began a career in the construction industry. He was a true craftsman, you knew if he was working on your project the quality and attention to detail would be second to none. His love for fishing took him on many adventures, he competed in many fishing tournaments, this led to many fishing stories “of course” he always caught the biggest one! He had a fun sense of humor, there was never a dull moment when he was around.

Ken married Sammy Chandler on April 6, 2006, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on December 10, 2016.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, one sibling, and both sets of grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, his children, Kellie (Jason) England of Hyde Park, UT, Mandy (Jared) Welch of Hyrum, UT, Amanda Johnson of Brigham City, UT, Wade Johnson of Brigham City, UT, 11 grandchildren, his brothers, Tony (Bonnie) Johnson of Centerville, UT, Dave (Amy) Johnson of Hurricane, UT.

Funeral services will be held on Monday April 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rapid Creek Ward Chapel, 801 North Rapid Creek Road, Inkom, ID.
