Linda Fe Miller (Rosales)

Linda leaves behind her daughter Lisa Cummings (Tim) and grandson John, her sisters Alice Patten, Michalene Paul (Scott), Marie Robbins (Randy), Teresa Timpson and brother Epigmenio Rosales, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband Steve, her parents, her sisters Patrosinia Stone and Rita Masad, and her brothers George Rosales and John Rosales.

Family first! Knowing Linda was to know her love for her family, and what a big family it is!

Linda was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She had a full childhood, growing up with her six beautiful talented sisters and two handsome brothers. Her father Manuel was very patient, and her mother Mary strong enough to keep the peace. Her family was blessed with strong musical ability and often sang and played instruments. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing with her sisters. Linda graduated from Highland High School in 1964.

Eager to see more, she moved to Santa Clara, California in 1968. One day Santa Clara police officer Steve Miller responded to a call at Linda’s home and found her so fetching that he felt the need to stop by later and “check” on her! Well, that wound up with the two of them being together for the next 35 years as husband and wife.

Professionally Linda worked as a legal secretary and was known to be a very ambitious hard worker. Incredibly organized everything was always in the right place. Linda developed many lifelong friends with the people she worked with throughout her career.

Linda frequently travelled back to Pocatello to visit her family. She enjoyed going back every Christmas and visiting her large family. Always loving on the new babies every time!

Devotion to Lisa, her only child, was an important life mission for her. Linda always traveled to see Lisa wherever she moved. Linda could not get enough of playing Lego’s, Matchbox cars or Army men battles with her grandson, John. John of course had no faults in Grandma Millers eyes! She could be a fierce protector of her family so mind your words when discussing them! When Linda got that glint in her eyes, watch out for her opinion was about to be stated loud and clear.

Linda travelled to many places including France, Italy and Germany. She always enjoyed great food and wine. Linda and Steve frequently went to the casinos in Lake Tahoe for fun weekends. She often listened to music spanning from classic rock to Bocelli! Linda frequently saw dance productions, plays and musicals with her daughter and friends. Relaxing with a good book and enjoying quiet times were high on her list as well.

We miss your knowing eyes, bright smiles and contagious laugh and will see you again in heaven.
