Mack Charles Thompson

Mack Charles Thompson was born January 25, 2008 to Justin and Katie Thompson. He is our firstborn son.
We had huge plans and dreams of him being everything a parent dreams their children will become. We soon learned this was not in the cards for Mack. Mack was diagnosed with a genetic brain defect at an early age and would not develop and meet milestones the way most kids do.
Mack never learned to talk or any real form of communication, but we as his parents knew when he was uncomfortable or when he was happy. He loved to be outside. He enjoyed playing/watching his classmates play basketball at recess. He loved going to school and learning from his teachers. He tried so hard to learn and develop the way most little kids do, but his body was constantly fighting against him. He has the greatest smile and we loved his laugh. Mack will be greatly missed as he has been the center of our lives since he came to us.
Services will be at 11am on Thur Aug. 25, 2016 at the Pocatello 44th Ward LDS Chapel (Hwy 91, Reservation and Ballard). The family will receive friends before the service from 9:30-10:45am, Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs, ID.
