Mark Lewis Miller Jr. left this life on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his home in Pocatello, Idaho.
His parents Amy Sue Allen and Mark Lewis Miller welcomed him into this world on February 10, 1993 in Rexburg, Idaho. He was just a tiny thing, weighing in at a mere 5 lbs. Even though he was tiny, he had a huge sparkle and he shared it with everyone he met.
A few years later he got a little brother, Austin Miller, that he wished would have been a little sister, but he got used to the idea of having a little brother instead and loved him more than words can express.
Mark also has some bonus brothers, Tyler Gardner, Colton Gardner and Gage Gardner that grew up with him.
Mark always had a curious nature and did very well in school. He played football in high school while excelling at math and languages. He learned to play guitar and master several types of Rubix cubes.
He attended Idaho State University as a math major. While in his third year of college he had his first seizure. He took some time off school and got busy with work and life.
He didn’t have a second seizure for 18 months. Then he got the official diagnosis of Idiopathic Epilepsy. There were a few more scares and accidents along the way, but it was mostly controlled. He maintained a positive outlook on life even though he suffered with this disease.
Mark stayed in Pocatello, Idaho for the remainder of his life. He worked at a few different jobs, but the longest time at Sizzler, eventually getting promoted to Kitchen Manager. This is where he met Toni Bianco, the love of his life and they were engaged on July 8, 2024. A dream come true for him. Toni made his light shine even brighter.
Mark is survived by his parents Amy (Todd) Allen, Mark (Jennifer) Miller, brother Austin Miller, fiancé Toni Bianco, grandparents Tom & Glenda Miller, Lynn Hernandez and Cheryl Allen. And so many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He left us all with wonderful memories of his kindness, compassion, wit and that beautiful brain of his. He was truly one of a kind.
Please make a donation to The Epilepsy Foundation to help others like Mark get the care they need and help raise awareness for this invisible disease.
