Melanie Sue Sims

Melanie Sims passed away on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, after a long fought battle with cancer. She was a long-time resident of Pocatello and Lava Hot Springs.

She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grand mother. Melanie is survived by her four children, Vanessa Almy 52 Mariana, Florida, Tonya Zimmerman 48 (Todd) Hendersonville, Tennessee, Brian Almy 44 Pocatello, Idaho, Liesl Wells 38 Denver, Colorado, and grandson Dylon Almy 20 who she raised, Pocatello Idaho, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her father, Doyle Munn, her mother, Phyllis Munn, her sister Dianne Munger, and her brother Michael Munn.
