Susan May Fagnant

Susan May Fagnant, 73, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Portneuf Medical Center following an illness. She was born May 26, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho the daughter of Elie Oscar and Wilma Florence Hill Ritzman.

She attended school in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, Pocatello, and North Marsh (Marsh Valley). She married Don Fagnant on June 2, 1958 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing poker, fishing, and hunting. She was a waitress and cook for several years. She then was the Lava City Clerk for many years. She also liked doing genealogy. She like attending her children and grandchildren athletic events and seldom missed a ballgame or wrestling match. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Susan is survived by her husband, Don Fagnant, of Lava Hot Springs; 2 sons, Travis Fagnant, Nyssa, Oregon; Paul (Julie) Fagnant, Inkom, Idaho; 2 daughters, Donna (Curtis) Ozburn, Lava Hot Springs; Jennie (Mike) Lloyd, Grace, Idaho; 1 brother, Andy (Ellen) Ritzman, Ammon, Idaho; 2 sisters, Rae(Eddie) Edwards. San Sabbath, Texas; Linda Archibald; 12 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Mary , sister Edris, brother David. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho with Father German Osorio officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to serves at the church. Interment will be in the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
