Terry Lynn Munsee, affectionately known as "Bones," passed away on June 13, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born on January 11, 1961, in Pocatello, Idaho, Terry’s life was a tapestry of adventure, love, and devotion that touched all who knew him.
A long haul truck driver by career, Terry found his greatest joy not just in the open roads he traveled but in the moments spent with family and close friends. He loved touring on motorcycles with his wife, Denise, creating journeys full of laughter and shared dreams. Terry's passion for tying flies and fly fishing reflected his deep appreciation for nature’s quiet beauty and patience.
Terry's heart was fullest when surrounded by those he cherished. He delighted in making memories and growing old alongside Denise, the love of his life. His proudest accomplishments were the countless hours spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren Abigail, Joshua, Titus, Ethan, Jazzlynn, and Lucas, who brought immeasurable joy to his days.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Denise Munsee; his daughter Stacey Morgan and her husband Nicholas; his sons Boe Holbrook (Amanda), James Holbrook, and Robert Holbrook (Caitlyn); his father Terry Wayne Munsee; siblings Cheryl Lindstrom, Kurt Munsee and his wife Pam, and Cheri Kunz; and the warmth of his grandchildren. They, along with many others, carry forward the legacy of his kindness, strength, and adventurous spirit.
Terry was preceded in death by his son Shawn Munsee; his mother, Helen Lindstrom; his foster parents, William and Jolynn Mahaffey; and his sister, Jennifer Kimsey, whose memories remain cherished and close to heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Building, located at 300 North Johnson Avenue in Pocatello, Idaho. This gathering will be an opportunity to honor Terry’s extraordinary life and the indelible mark he leaves on all who knew him.
Terry Lynn Munsee’s journey may have ended, but the love he shared, the adventures he embraced, and the family he treasured will forever hold a place in our hearts. His spirit rides on with every mile traveled and every memory made.
