Vana Lynne Turnbeaugh

Vana Lynne Turnbeaugh returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 7, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 3, 1951 to Boyd Lee Arnold and Juanita May Waters in Rigby, Idaho. She attended Pocatello High school and married Raymond Blaine Turnbeaugh on June 3, 1995 in Rockland, Idaho. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 15, 2011. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Vana loved being outside and enjoyed fishing.

She was a beautiful artist, making everything from homemade waterfalls, rock gardens, and wedding cakes to her own kitchen cupboards and backsplash tiles. Vana will be remembered as being sweet, patient, and kind to everyone.

Vana is survived by her mother, Juanita (Nita) Arnold; her siblings Nina (Larry) Zahm, Alene (Sid) Robison, Fonda (Adrian) Oliphant, and Donnel (Brenda) Arnold; her children, Johnny Johnson, Jamey Johnson, Jolene Johnson, Zandra Turnbeaugh, Richie (Kyli) Turnbeaugh, Tierza (Court) Dschaak, Kariena Turnbeaugh, and Rosie Turnbeaugh; and her grandchildren, Dominik Maxwell, Jason Maxwell, Casen Dschaak, and Taya Turnbeaugh. She is preceded in death by her father, Boyd, and her brother, Milon (Butch).

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13th, at the LDS chapel in Rockland, Idaho (405 E. Shoshone, Rockland, Idaho, 83271) with a viewing at 9:30am and funeral at 11:00am. Burial services will follow at the Rockland Valley View Cemetery. Donations can be made at www.gofundme.com/the-turnbeaugh-family
