"It is Not What You Earn, It s What You Save!"

Our dear father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Virgil Adams, peacefully left this earth in his sleep on March 27, 2012. He was born on June 21, 1917 in Turner, Idaho to Ivan and Lucy Ann Gilbert Adams. He grew up in Grace, Idaho, but also lived in Blackfoot and Pocatello.

He married Norma Rosa Peterson on April 22, 1939. They were married for 72A½ wonderful years. Virgil was a member of the LDS Church. Virgil valued his family above all else and was devoted to his four children and Norma. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is surely in heaven fishing right now with his sweetheart, Norma.

Virgil and Norma had four children - Eva (Sidney) Noles (Brigham City, Utah), Dr. Dean (Joyce) Adams (Logan, Utah), Nancy (Ben) Davis (North Salt Lake, Utah), and Linda (Carey) Burnside (West Jordan, Utah). Virgil proudly leaves behind his 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Norma, parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 512 North 12th Street, Pocatello, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to services.
